The Street Profits vs The Brawling Brutes vs Pretty Deadly in a Triple Threat Tag Team Title No. 1 Contender Match

Tonight's first match brings together three formidable teams vying for the opportunity to fight for the Tag Team Championships. The Street Profits, sporting a new attitude and theme song, have shifted away from their previous fun-loving persona. Pretty Deadly is in top form, making them personal favorites. The Brawling Brutes, perceived as the underdogs, still hold the potential for surprises in this match due to the unpredictable nature of tag team rules.

Backstage, B-Fab engaged in a conversation with Bobby, hinting at an imminent expansion of his corporation. As the match reached its climax, Butch made a critical error by delivering a Big Boot to Ridge Holland's face. Capitalizing on this mistake, Kit Willson threw Butch aside, allowing the Street Profits to execute their tag team finisher on Ridge Holland. With this victory, the Street Profits emerge as the new 1st contenders for the Tag Team Championship.

Dragon Lee vs Axiom

In a super high-flying match between Dragon Lee and Axiom, it was clear that Dragon had found a suitable opponent for the night. Both masked competitors aimed to impress Rey Mysterio and seek revenge on Santos Escobar. Axiom, the Power Ranger from Spain, left a lasting impression with a spectacular jump from the third rope outside the ring – a truly impressive feat. What stood out even more was the execution of a Canadian Destroyer, a move rarely seen in WWE.

Following a breathtaking Spanish Fly from the third rope, it seemed like Axiom had the upper hand, and many believed he would emerge victorious. However, Dragon Lee turned the tide with a devastating knee strike, setting the stage for a match-ending Destino. Despite Axiom's impressive performance, Dragon Lee secured the win. It was a spectacular match, showcasing the high-flying skills and resilience of both competitors, and earning a lot of respect from both performers.

Santos explained his actions

Santos began his speech with a classic heel monologue, filled with excuses and accusations against Rey Mysterio and the WWE Universe. Despite his aspirations to become the new Lucha icon, Santos Escobar's attitude raised doubts about his ability to achieve that status. His rant culminated in a disturbing message directed at Carlito, expressing a desire for Rey never to return and even suggesting harm.

The tension reached a breaking point when Zelina Vega, unable to tolerate Escobar's words any longer, entered the ring to reason with him. Unfortunately, her attempt to bring sense to Escobar failed, leading to her slapping him in the face. Despite her grace and beauty, Pretty Zelina's sadness was evident.

Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde, visibly upset, approached the ring to console their friend. Instead, Escobar continued his assault on them, giving them an ultimatum to either stand with him or leave. They chose to leave, but Escobar, showing his ruthless side, attacked them from behind. Two disheartened allies were no match for him.

However, the situation took a turn when Carlito, the unexpected hero, came to their aid. Santos Escobar retreated, setting the stage for a potential match between them at Survivor Series. The unfolding drama promises an intense showdown between these conflicting forces in the WWE Universe.

Grayson Waller vs Cameron Grimes

In a showdown between the Australian sensation and the young star Cameron, Austin Theory provided commentary for the match. Cameron initially gained the upper hand, nearly securing victory with his Cave-In move. However, Waller managed to evade the maneuver at the last possible moment. In an attempt to boost his friend's spirits, Theory intervened, but Grimes countered with a Penalty Kick. Seizing the opportunity, Grayson finished the match with a move resembling Chelsea Green's Unprettier. The unexpected turn of events added a layer of intrigue to the match, showcasing the unpredictability and dynamics of the competition.

Return of Solo Sikoa

Paul Heyman, in his usual fiery manner, delivered a speech acknowledging Solo and his significant victory over John Cena. Heyman made a bold statement, declaring that we will never see Cena in WWE again and bidding farewell to the "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time). Notably, Heyman, who wasn't as prominent on the microphone recently, returned with an impactful presence, making it an engaging moment for the audience.

However, the celebration was cut short by the arrival of Mega Star, LA KNIGHT. He asserted that the Bloodline remains a significant problem and presented himself as the solution. LA Knight promised to take on all members of the Bloodline one by one until Roman Reigns is left alone. 

LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso

As anticipated, the match was swift and physically intense. Jimmy Uso displayed joyful and spirited energy, constantly cheering himself on. In contrast, LA Knight exuded confidence, steadily progressing towards victory over Uso. The final move, the BFT, brought Jimmy down.

However, Solo swiftly entered the ring, and together with his brother, they aimed to dismantle LA Knight. In the midst of the chaos, the ever-reliable Cody arrived on the scene. The American hero was prepared to save the day, showcasing his readiness to intervene across any brand. In the end, the faces stood tall, bringing a sense of triumph to the evening.

Last member of Bianca team revealed 

The anticipation was high as Bianca Belair and her allies geared up to accept the challenge from Damage CTRL, even in a numerical disadvantage. However, at the last second, as Damage CTRL was about to launch their attack, Becky Lynch made a surprise appearance. The motives behind Becky's involvement in this situation. I see no sence in this move. This scenario seems reminiscent of the confusion surrounding Cody's participation with the Bloodline, as seemingly senseless additions are made to the teams.

The unexpected inclusion of team members without apparent reasoning has left you disappointed, and it appears that the developments in these storylines lack clarity or coherence. But generally I am strongly disappointed by this adding.

It's time to rate this Smack n Down episode, and unfortunately, it was a bit dull and more or less predictable. I'll give it a 5/10. There were a couple of bright moments with Santos's breaking silence and Paul's speech. However, the other segments weren't particularly memorable. That wraps up tonight.
